The best way to get your cat to eat cat grass is directly from the plant itself while it’s in its container. A good rule of thumb is to wait until the cat grass is about 4 inches tall.

How to Grow Cat Grass
The first thing you’ll need is a container that is suitable for growing cat grass. This container should be heavy so your cat doesn’t knock it over.
To get a head start on the seeds before you actually plant them, it is a good idea to soak your seeds in a glass of water for a few hours prior to planting them in the soil.
The next thing to do is to put some soil in your container. About 3 to 4 inches will do. Then place the seeds on top and cover them with another layer of soil.
